COVID-19 Procedure
· Temporary hours during the pandemic are: Monday – Friday 8-5 pm, with Curbside Service only.
· Please check website for holiday/other closings and monthly Saturday appointment availability.
· To check in when you arrive please call the office number 607-217-5202. You will be asked for your name; pet name; and car color, make and model along with the phone number to reach you during the appointment. If you do not have a cell phone or if it is after hours, please use the callbox at the front door.
· History will be taken by phone from your assistant or technician.
· The pet will then be brought into the hospital for the exam and procedure while you wait in your car, unless it is an extended stay for surgery or drop off already scheduled.
· The doctor will then call you from the hospital with the findings, testing to be done and treatment.
· Pre-invoice and your pet will be brought out to your vehicle, as well as medications. Payment to be rendered via credit card, cash or check at this time.
· Masks are to be worn by all individuals while communication at the car is occurring.

· Dr. Vail is out on maternity leave until mid-May. Congratulations to her and her husband!
· Dr. Beaulieu and Dr. Ziebur (part time) are currently seeing patients.
· We are not accepting new clients at this time.
· Unfortunately, we are still unable to offer after-hours emergency visits at this time due to staffing constraints. We want to provide our clients and patients with competent medical care and compassion. Working 24 hours a day 7 days a week does not allow this to happen. Emergency service during normal business hours is available. However, if after hours or on weekends, please call Cornell University Hospital for Animals 607-253-3060 (Ithaca), Colonial VCA 607-257-3650 (Lansing), or Valley Veterinary Hospital 607-563-1345 (Sidney).
